Greetings fellow duelists! I am GensouR-1.I bought my first Duema cards from vendor, they were the 2 TCG start decks and where i come from it's hard to come across booster packs and since TCG is deader than dead,Duel Masters cards in my country are gone forever so it's online for me when it comes to playing Duel Masters.

Hello @GensouR-1,
Welcome to our forum. It's very hard to come buy any cards in your own country but importing them from Japan is actually quite easy and affordable. I recommend doing that, at least if you have someone to duel with in person. Online dueling is still a viable option to keep on dueling.

Hi there
Well, hi everyone!
Name's Secret_Wyvern and compared to alot of people here Im really new to duel masters XD
My first interaction with Duel Masters was a commercial for the Duel Masters anime on a transformers dvd but by then the game was dead where I lived and the stores nearby didn't have it.
But then a few years later, through a chaotic tcg video on Youtube, I learned about TCO and used it to start playing the game that I'd wanted to play for years (duel masters, obviously).
I arrived in the Revolution block at around set DMR-19. And since then I've been getting better at the game. I still wouldn't call myself that 'good' at the game, but hey somethings better than nothing.

Greetings and Salutations!
Good day or good evening to all! My name is Drew, also known as diabolicaldrew66 on ebay. I live in the United States. I have made it a personal goal of mine to sell DM cards all over the world as well as connect with players. But more importantly than selling, I aim to get cards into hands of those who can use them and to play. I was introduced to this game by a friend of mine named Jeff who died young, so the game has a deep meaning in my life and whenever I play the card Miraculous Rebirth, it reminds me of him. Anyway I look forward to getting to know some of you as well helping to build the Duel Masters Forum. I have an assortment of deck lists as well as a big collection so I hope to share that with all of you in my time here! Many thanks to the admins of this page for making this forum a reality and help us all connect throughout the world!

Hi there @Secret_Wyvern and diabolicaldrew,
We are glad that you could join us. It's very uncommon that duelists jump straight do OCG, especially after this long time. Then again the game is very accessible through TCO's dueling system. Newcomers and old fans are equally welcome here!
I'm sorry for your loss. It seems that you are doing some what similar that I have been doing, i.e. transporting/selling cards to them in need. This game has a big online community but it doesn't take away from the real life aspects of Duel Masters. I prefer dueling face to face and am happy to duel a bit less frequently if it means I can duel locally. I still do Online duels but not very often. Enthusiastic members like you are just what the DM community needs.
Welcome and duel on!

Very nice to see another seller here who pretty much has the same intentions as I do. Sorry about the loss of your friend, but strong memories keep the cards in our hearts and the people we connect with them, no matter who awesome or sad these memories are. I'm sure your friend is very proud of you and your work trying to keep the community alive in America which is a difficult task as we all know the US are big and duelists are so spread out they'll probably never meet in person.
I wouldn't sit here today if it wasn't for my grandfather.

@KazeBlack
That's indeed a impressive buisness idea you build up there. Might becoming handy for me in the future. Since we live both in germany we could arrange meetings with all other german dueöists every now and then but that belongs to another section of this forum.
@shuriken16:
I experienced the same when i got back to duel mastes after while. I'm still never heard so many cards. But thats the curse and blessing of playing ocg having a huge amount of options =).

Hi,
I'm duelmastersaustralia. Well my obsession with the game began when I was around 10 years of age. Every Saturday morning here in Australia cartoons are all over TV and I remember watching it and being so captivated by it, I then went down to my local shop and bought two booster packs. The second booster pack I opened was from the DM - 01 set and I got a bolshack dragon. It was from that point I liked the fire civilisation. I then figured out if i put nature cards in my deck I could increase my mana which would allow me to summon more ferocious creatures! Anyway around this time the D-Max club was big here in Australia there would be tournaments practically every month which would attract 100's of duellists around the state. I regularly competed in these and actually managed to win a couple of tournaments. I then didn't touch my cards for years and years but have got back into it for nostalgic reasons and just the fact that I really still enjoy playing this game however I have the some problem as everyone else - I have no one to duel with!! As the game is dead here in Australia! I'm still collecting though but would like the opportunity to duel some people xD anyway that's me.
Peace out.

Well, good day to all.
InsanityMad has been the chosen alias for all games/online platforms I've been on so I'll continue my tradition of being probably mentally ill. I hail from Singapore, am a frequent player, and enjoy spending my money on things that do not help me at all, namely Duel Masters.
I first started out Duel Masters in 2005, when it first appeared in my country. I had a card shop near my school, which hosted many tournaments, which I participated in. Had this near unbeatable Survivor deck, utilising a combo of all the power-up Survivors, Slash and Burn, and Relentless Blitz. However, I got bored of the game fast and sold my deck.
6 years later, I got back in the game due to DM having amazing art, and that friends asked me to join. Restarted with this terrible Ultimate Evolution deck, since the card I loved so much back then was Skull Moon. I then progressed on to making more dumb decks, and eventually meta decks. Though I do have decks that are straight up meta-copies, I put a heavy focus on fun decks, decks with a more focused theme rather than primary winning decks. Which is why I treat the current meta here in Singapore with contempt, as the most popular deck type seems to be control, which is clearly the opposite of fun.
I think its safe to say that I'm quite the veteran. I've been playing since the pre-banlist times, witnessed the end of the DM series, the rise of DMR series, and the start of all the hilarious strategies that come up. I can't read Japanese, but I do follow Japanese blogs that primarily feature Duel Masters, in seach of more decks to build.
I enjoy the game a lot, and always try to bring more people into it. Here's to a more happy and hopeful time.

Percival here, or you might find me on the DMWiki as スリー(Three), Percival95 on TCO, Percival9575 on Twitter (where I spend most of my time), or Barrette on DMVault.
Been playing since DM-01, so I can say I'm an experienced player, or at least know the way around the game.
I also write a Touhou DM fanfic, Touhou Duel Masters Cafe, though I haven't had time to update much as of late, but feel free to check it out on fanfiction.com if you're interested.
I mostly enjoy dueling IRL, and on Skype with my Japanese friends, and own quite a couple of decks, some of which are meta.
Nice to meet you guys, and hope we get along.

Hello @duelmastersaustralia, @insanitymad and @パーシヴァル
Duel Masters has isn't same as it used to be but more and more fans are returning all the time. In Finland we have already after a few years a big enough group of people to be well functional locally. I have no doubt that you could achieve the same goal elsewhere.
Love to hear your optimism insanitymad! It's never too late to return doing something you love. I'm also more of a fan deck duelist than a hardcore meta gamer. I like to think out of the box.
We just newly created a Twitter account for DM Reborn, so feel free to follow us there. We'll be posting updates there and most importantly bringing in more people to the Duel Masters community.
Great to see so so many people registering here and being active. Our warmest welcomes to you all!

Hi @chiazx1
Again, you are very welcome here. Good to have more people with huge TCG (or OCG) collections here on DM Reborn. I just love having physical cards and playing with them.

KB has a good point. I recommend creating a trading thread for yourself with at least your most important haves and wants: it makes it much easier to function here and actually complete deals.

Greetings, everyone.
I'm Jakub, 21 years old, from Lublin, Poland (technically from a small village near Lublin but since I'm attending the University of Warsaw, that city is where I spend most of my time so I put it in my profile).
Currently in possession of a Hybrid (it's the standard format in Poland in areas where OCG cards are not frowned upon) deck and an OCG deck and planning to build more. Little to no interest in TCG cards other than those that were not later reprinted or are hard to acquire (e.g. Belix, the Explorer). However, my friends and I (I will probably be dealing with trading on behalf of other players from Lublin as well) do have some TCG cards to offer and even Korean Duel Legend cards (not sure what's this forum's policy on them, to be honest).
My collection interests are pretty narrow, you could say "specialised". For example, I collect copies of every Faerie Life-related card.
You can find me on TCO from time to time but I dislike this platform and only use it as a means of testing niche deck ideas prior to investing money into bulding them IRL. My friends and I also have a series of videos from our meetings on YouTube – should there be an interest, I can arrange having English subtitles added to them.
Deck-wise I like rogue decks, niche ideas (my IRL deck is an alternative wincon one and it's a pretty good one if I do say so myself), crazy combos and smart controls. I strongly dislike rushes, brainless beatdowns and I particularly detest Invasion and Revolution Change (prehaps this hatred will pass with time). I do acknowledge their importance to the meta, however, and I always say that a deck that plays well against everything other than a rush deck is no good deck at all.
I think that's all the information you'd need to get an accurate semi-impression of me as a player and a collector. Cheers, and I hope we have a good run here! :-)

Welcome to DM Reborn, @Neader!
I've heard that in Poland hybrid format at least used to be very popular but I myself would stay away from it since it's very broken already because Soulswap is allowed. Still, if that's how you want to play it's totally fine.
I'm currently also mainly using TCO to test play my real life decks and I like to make interesting strong but usually not meta level decks. Thus far these decks have been very decent and I have had lots of fun dueling with them against my friends.
I agree, Invasions and Revolution Changes are very cancerous to this beloved game! Maybe we could create a format that for example doesn't include cards and restrictions after DMR-16. Still, I find other new cards rather interesting although Giovanni became a bit too powerful and it's ban was totally justified.
Nice to hear that you have meetings going on in Poland. I hope this community can help you to grow bigger and make Duel Masters more relevant in Poland.

The mentality of Hybrid is that everything that is balanced is allowed, it all balances out together in the end. While not quite true and some decktypes have natural advantage over others, I wouldn't call it a terrible format per se. Still, I do prefer OCG and that's what we've been shifting to.
I just hope Invasion and Rev Change get some more restrictions once Takara's done milking money out of them.

Welcome to the forum, @Touch Me!
There are many other passionate TCG duelists here and I'd probably even consider myself as one. It's been our pleasure to finally offer this forum for the community.
