@Haiken might be the only one having a full collection since Scream Slicer promo is almost nonexistent. I have everything but that and most Burger King promos in English language.

I started collecting at the beginning of 2014 and I am still acquiring new cards this day. I have been using thousands of euros for sure but selling spare cards has helped a lot.

If you ask "How much a full collection is worth?", the answer depends on what you consider as a full collection or what is your final goal.

Some people set their goal to obtain all the 12 normal english sets. In today's market that would be worth around 1000 to 2500 euros depending on condition, way of obtaining etc. If you are really lucky or the condition of the cards is really bad, they can be worth even less than 1000 euros.

But many consider full collection to contain all the english promotional cards too. In good condition, the promo cards (without the normal 12 sets) would be worth around 3000-4000+ euros. However, if you exclude the high-end super rare promo cards (worth 100+ euros each), then you could expect to get your promos for 500-1000 euros.

If that's not enough collecting, you can go for international promos, other languages, puzzle cards, error cards, sealed products etc. And that will cost a lot more.


Buuuut, if you ask about my personal collecting. I'm somewhere near the same state as ELTP with the english cards. I don't know exact numbers of how much I've spent. But I've been doing loads of trading and snagging good deals trough the years to get to the current point. For example back in 2005-2010 era when people quit the game, I purchased multiple collections for really low prices.
