What are you up to, that your Duel masters passion gets passive?

Our local (Finland) DM is very active! Daily chat via whatsapp etc.

Most of us are just adverse to change, and we stick to facebook, or in recent months, the wiki discord.

Then why does this site even exist lol?

This site is probably not as active as everybody would hope but it's up to us.

It's not that hard to reply a message even shortly, but for some reason, not many people bother even to do that, although they would read a message and have thoughts on that topic at hand.

As stated here, Finnish DM community uses lots of WhatsApp and DM Wiki people uses Discord. Using those platforms doesn't meant this platform would be less useful.

I think it's a shame social media has taken over as the main platform for discussion and communication. I can see why that's case considering I intuitively log onto Facebook every day while not so much with forums.

I do think forums are very cool though and are much more organised, especially when it comes to sharing deck lists. A shame when you think about it, really.

Forums are a nice way of sharing organized content (deck lists, tournament sign-ups, set lists etc.) and making trades (or at least sharing haves and wants lists).

That said, instant messaging is where we are going to be in the end and forums are going to be less important - but important, nonetheless.

Don't worry, if i make a post here, it will end up in the dm facebook group.

Well I'm not on facebook or in any other group. I think it's a shame that this forum was created and is not used because of too many social sites are having the same community as here

It not as easily done as it is said. Let's see where we get from here. Things are looking rather good for DM still, over a decade after the discontinuation of TCG.

The forum can only be as active as it members. That said, he forum has been a bit more lively during this week.

The good old days. I also remember how much DM-related discussion there were on Pojo back in the day. Then it slowly vanished. Now, here we are.

But as we saw in recent posts, posting decks wakes a lot of hate

And ammount of salt in these "conversations". I think pacific ocean is saltless nowadays...
