Hello everyone, I'm hosting a TCG tournament on OCTGN.

Rules:

1. It'll be a fixed deck tournament.
2. Bombazaar, Dragon of Destiny is banned.
3. There's no card limit for the deck, though I'd recommend not going anywhere above 80 cards.


So yeah, it's mostly pure TCG. We'll start on 1st March, or later if we can't get at least 8 participants.

Comment here if you're interested in participating and PM me the deck file/list to register.
In addition, mention your OCTGN username.

Submitted decks can be changed/updated anytime before the start of the tournament.

All duels will be best of 3. Match scores, too, should be reported here.

Also, to all participants, if you see the other players online on OCTGN, add them to your friend list there so you can communicate directly. You may also use the OCTGN community chat.

[Best of 3 - First to win 2 duels wins. Score can be 2-0 or 2-1. The player who lost the last duel chooses who goes first in the next one.)

Well that sounds interesting, doubt I'll participate myself with my computer broken. But if it get's fixed by then, I'll definitely take part in the tournament.

That depends on how actively people duel, but normally it should last 2 or 3 weeks(as people duel mostly on the weekends). I'll see to it that the tournament doesn't stretch too much beyond deadlines

Yeah, my only issue was that if you were to take part, you would have extra information beforehand. But that's understandable.

Anyway, I want to participate. Is the 1st of march the deadline for submitting decks as well?

Great! Yeah, 1st is the submission deadline too.

How do you deal with players in different time-zones? I'm interested but I'm pretty noob and I don't really know how to build a good deck.

Players can usually see each other online on forums/OCTGN, but it's good to decide a time that you both agree with, by messaging each other.

And yeah, all of those cards are TCG.

Also, to my groupmates, due to the forces of extreme convienience, I'm gonna have lots of free time over the next 2 weeks, so I'm up for duelling basically whenever.

To any one who I'll face these are the best times for dueling me-
Weekdays+Sunday-4 pm to about 8:30 pm
Saturday-All Day
March 2nd-all day

Also here's an idea, would anyone be interested in a tournament focusing on phoenixes? You know like the spectacle nova era? I know the era doesn't have the best reputation but I think it'd be pretty cool for a small gimicky tournament
And I swear that idea isn't just an excuse for me to use tyranno drakes for something
