Ich hab gesucht, aber nix aus der Hannover-Zeit hier als Material rüberkopiert gefunden. Die Listen wurden während der Hannover-Ärakorrigiert, letztlich basieren sie auf den Listen von mindestens 1-2 weiteren Leuten international und meiner finalen dt Übersetzung; Zuarbeit gab's auch manchmal wie von KB. Mnache Liste (zB dmr05) liegt nicht mehr als dt-version vor. Falls PDF nicht funktioniert, bitte message an mich.

Wenn sich dieser Zeitaufwand überhaupt lohnt die zu updaten, immerhin sind wir inzwischen 10+ Jahre weiter im Meta, der alte Kram wir kaum noch gespielt außer wenige Ausnahmen. Es gab viel Renaming wegen Archetypes und Effekte, die Karten benennen (z.B Attari Ponnosuke). PDFs von den neuen Sets wären natürlich eher hilfreich, aber in meinen Augen haben wir nicht genug Spieler in der DE Community die OCG spielen, dass sich das in irgendeiner Art und Weise lohnen würde. Alle die hier sind sprechen und lesen sowieso English zu einem gewissen Grad und da ist das DM Wiki natürlich als Quelle weit voraus im Vergleich zu irgendwelchen Dokumenten die nach einer Zeit nicht mehr aktuell sind, erst Recht wenn sich Ruling ändert und ganze Karten in der Übersetzung dann umgeschrieben werden müssen um dem gerecht zu werden.

Lange Rede kurzer Sinn: Ich glaube nicht, dass wir solche PDFs heutzutage noch benötigen. Damals, wo das DM Wiki noch nicht so stark entwickelt war, waren sie super. Aber den Punkt haben wir schon lange hinter uns gelassen.

Danke für deine Meinung. Nicht jede/jeder kann oder will hunderte Karten auf Englisch lesen, nicht jeder/jede wird extra einen Browser öffnen wollen um DM wiki zu lesen. Was für die Größe der dt community aktuell am wichtigsten ist, kann ich nicht wissen. Natürlich können und sollen alle hier auch aktuelle ARBEIT beisteuern. Ich werde jedoch keine weiteren Übersetzungen beisteuern.^^

Fazit: lieber machen statt mosern, lieber solide alte arbeit nochmal allen verfügbar machen statt davon auszugehen, dass alle "kids" so auf DM jp zugehen wie wir älteren. Und was du komplett ausblendest ist die Tatsache, dass in der dt. community vlt sogar mehr alte als neuere import karten lagern/rumliegen, was sich auch auf trading situationen auswirkt. ich schaffe ein pdf in 10-15 sekunden, das wird heute geschafft yeah

Thank you for the Lists man. A lot of effort has gone into those . However i have to admit, DMWikia and in this case ccgdb has all the informations you need. Anyway, if you prefer the physical soultuin, your lists are just perfect!

like i said, this is meant to build bridges, not to stop 11 year olds from learning english. on the contrary, it encourages multi-language sooner rather than later;-)

if you know any efficient other source that welcomes players in their european languages to jp dm, please add/extent the thread.

I will discuss your suggestion with the other mods (most likely on wednesday) and admins on our WA Group, but for now please stick to english. The initial thought on this forum to bring internationally active/selling Duel Masters Players together and english is simply the most spoken language (regardless of your language skills!) Not everyone can and is willing to learn a new language (or even new words) as it is a hard task, espcially if the only use for this language would be Duel Masters and this forum maybe. By now i made the experience that there are even new starting players every now and then that haven't had a "collection" on their own, and some of them are younger too.

However i can understand your point but not agree to it so far.

just quick:

- entire section for our various regions probably too much work. who would contribute so much text in (multi) language? i sadly won't. i am inactive.

- just make sure to not project OUR experience and approach as older english-skilled onto others, maybe dozens in european regions who are too young, weak english skills and so on, who don't register in such forums bc of language barrier. widen options. don't limit options. this was a singular thread by german speaking translation material to those who struggle with the english stuff, if KB is correct, none of this old work matters much for a new generation of players. but having the option is better than not having it. that's how hannover group existed for 10+ years;-)

I think it could be beneficial for local communities to offer translations in their own languages but it's not probably really feasable to do that in the long run. But that is up to every local community to decide.

What comes to the multilingual question of the forum, English is generally used across the sections since that is the language many people know these days and it is the language shared by the administration team of DMR community. However, if you wish to post German-only or mostly German topics, I would suggest posting them on the Community Area & DM Worldwide section of this forum. Additionally, if the demand is there, we could also add a sub-section for German speaking community.

So I have no problems with (mostly or totally) non-English topics as long as they are concentrated on specific place and not randomly across the whole forum (makes it more difficult to go through the topics) and they follow the rules of the forum. A couple of non-English posts in the topics is also not a big deal, but it shouldn't be more than a couple of posts.
