I wasn't sure where to post this in the forums at least, but after talking to ELTP, he thought it would fit here.

I wanted to make a post to see if anyone had questions or ideas for the wiki. One of my goals this year is to have a bit more ruling focus (at least in terms of new pages this month) as well as continuing to add a bunch of random deck pages to illustrate random strategies (right now we try to keep up with the competitive metagame at a minimum, but more decks are wanted).

Effort is made to keep Deck Collection up to date and matching the jpwiki.

A lot of pages have also been getting jpwiki links for sources of info so things are kept up to date and/or information can be checked.

Oh, and general advice, I know sometimes there are a few annoying ads that can appear on the wiki (that I have no control over), but I believe they might be limited to just the mainpage now. Also, if you have Chrome or Firefox for your internet browser, go get Adblock Plus or Ublock Origin. Trust me. The internet will be made 100's of times better for you.

Other random things Ive done lately is the inclusion of what is known as "RUBY" which allows me to place Hiragana/Katakana over Kanji (to explain card pronunciation and names). Theres a lot of this added (Forbidden, Giants, Gods, Beast Folk Go...) already, and a lot of races that currently still need it (Outrage, Outrage MAX).

Another thing that hasnt been rolled out completely is also the new watermark feature in the cardtable. Basically just including the Invader/Revolutionary or Soul symbols (out of the effect section, since souls aren't really an ability) on the page.
*This can be seen on Ultra Man, Cattonfa and Hallelujah. I want to do Initials as well, but I have no good image for the Dokindam spears.

I think this is actually a perfect fit here.

I didn't even know about that Deck Collection section you have on Wiki: It's very interesting and lots of data is involved! An excellent way of preserving DM history.

You have lots of things going on the Wiki. I really appreciate the effort you and the wiki community has put behind it. Duel Masters wouldn't be what it is right now without you. At least not outside Japan.

Maybe you could use this thread for posting some updates you have done in addition to collecting feedback. Or have a separate thread for that. It would be interesting to know how things are proceeding on the wiki. Like those Watermarks and that RUBY Hiragana/Katakana interpreter or combiner as an added features.

You could just copy-paste stuff you write elsewhere or post some links, if you wouldn't feel like writing here anything new.

Letting other DM fans know what you are doing is always a good thing. And I'm not just talking about you Yami Michael and DM Wiki. I mean in general. We need to be more transparent as a community. There are lots of separate elements that should be brought closer together.

Well I'm new to wiki so I don't know how to add a card image to a card's page. I have a pretty good image of Miradante Time Pope and unless someone updates it while I post this it has no image. So well how do I add an image to the page?

First you have to upload the image to the wikia. That can be done by clicking on the "Contribute" button and selecting "Add a Photo". Be mindful of what you name the picture.
Then you go to the page you wish to upload the picture and click "Edit". Somewhere it should say "| image = ". Add the picture's name after that line. Example:
| image = La Ura Giga, Sky Guardian.jpg

You can also add the picture to the gallery. Compare how other have done it by editing other pages. As long as you don't save your editing, you can experiment with the preview button, which should help you get used to things.

As a small note, I will mention theres a naming policy for images just so things stay consistent.

For any Japanese card, it follows a dm#-##.jpg system. For example, the miradante was dmx26-5.jpg. Don't worry about it tho, it was quick and easy to rename it.

I can make the Dokindam spears for you. Just give me a day or two and you'll have it. I'll post it here. I might even be able to do it today.
