This is a deck, that was built with the 2006 banlist in mind. it was legal back then!
It is not meant for any modern competition, it is just an attempt to rebuild one of the most infamous decks in Duel Masters history.


Fire:

2x Bolmeteus Sapphire Dragon - Finisher, Target for Inferno Gate
2x Hell's Scrapper/Burst Shot - Protection against Rush Decks, Shield Trigger

Darkness:

1x Lost Soul - Discard the opponents entire hand
3x Terror Pit - Creature Destruction, Shield Trigger
4x Inferno Gate - To revive Sapphire from the grave to the field
1x Skeleton Vice - Random Discard
1x Slash Charger - To send Sapphire from the deck to the grave

Nature:

2x Soulswap - To swap creatures from the field with the mana zone, Shield Trigger
3x Bronze Arm Tribe- Mana ramp
4x Poisonous Mushroom - Mana ramp
4x Dandy Eggplant - To send Sapphire from the deck or mana zone to the grave

Water:

3x Aqua Surfer - To bounce the opponents creatures, Shield Trigger Creature
4x Crystal Memory - To search for important cards e.g. Inferno Gate, Dandy
1x Cyber Brain - draw 3 cards, Shield Trigger
2x Aqua Hulcus - draw 1 card
3x Emergency Typhoon - to discard Sapphire from the hand and draw 2, Shield Trigger

Wow, it is so weird to see Ingerno Gate, Skeleton Vice, Soulswap and Cyber Brain in a OCG deck. No to mention Sapphire in more than 1 copy.

I made some major changes to the deck, since it had problems against Rush. Now it works perfectly and I often get Bolmeteus Sapphire Dragon out on turn 4 or even 3.

Well can't exactly play this deck with more than 1 Bolmeteus sapphire as it is restricted... Unless you play without a banlist in which others will do the same haha

I built this deck based on the 2006 Banlist.

Adjusted the Ratios and added back 2 Soulswap.
It works way better than before! I mostly test it against Bombazar Blue, since it wins against almost anything else. It usually trades wins with it.

I would say max out Pit and maybe add 1-2 ghastly.
