Alright boys and girls, at least some of you gotta play video games. I guess I'll start.

I love the Dark Souls series, they're my favourite games of all time. Apart from that, most of the stuff I play are indie games. Binding of Isaac, Risk of Rain, Crypt of the Necrodancer... Stuff like that.

As for multiplayer stuff, I play Overwatch and League of Legends with friends from time to time.

Pretty thorough Blizzard fanboy. WoW/Hearthstone is daily, Overwatch on occasion (when I dont have as many WoW things to do.)

I'm bouncing in and out of Hearthstone. Recently I've just been lazily completing quests. It's at a weird state where it's fun enough that I'm still playing it, but not compelling enough to invest copious amounts of time daily into it.

I added my battle.net and steam information to the first post cause why not. Add me if you don't mind.

I at least used to be a decently active console gamer (or peasant) with my PS3, PS4 and the Vita. Haven't really played any games on PC since my childhood. It's just not for me although it could be cheaper on the long run.

The last games I have been playing are Uncharted 4, Witcher 3, Dangaronpas, The Walking Dead - Season 2, and a punch of smaller indie games. I have plans of getting Ratchet and Clank Remastered, The Last Guardian, Gravity Rush 2 and the upcoming Horizon: Zero Dawn at some point but let's see how things go. I have so much other things going on at the moment.

I have had plans to try Demon's Soul, Dark Soul series or Bloodborne at some point but don't know if that will really happen. They definitely seem interesting and resonate with lots of people. A upcoming game called Nioh has been compared with Dark Souls a lot but it seems to manage well on its own.

Feel free to add me on

I also have Steam account but I'm not really using it.

Well I'm currently waiting for some games to release this year (For Honor looks good). I've replaying old games such as Borderlands 2 and L4D2 on my Mac, love the replay value and how it so much fun to play multiplayer.

And the only regular game I've been playing on my PS4 is FIFA. I'll always get it each year without fail even though the game makes me so mad at times haha

Oh and has anyone tried both Battlefield 1 and Infinite Warfare? I'm still deciding which one to get

If you have a PS4, Horizon Zero Dawn seems to be something to look for. It surely is one of the biggest releases this year. If I was a football fan, I'd also probably get every annual FIFA and PES entry. I have heard that this year both of them were very good.

According to what I have heard ainfinite Warfare's single player campaign is very good but some don't like the multiplayer that much. Battlefield 1 seems to be more universally acclaimed, so I would probably get that one over Infinite Warfare.

I tried getting into Darkest Dungeon a couple of times, but never could quite get invested in it. I see that it's a really, really well made game, but I guess it's not something entirely up my valley.

Which of the Dark Souls games is your favourite?

I'd say it's a tie between DS1 and DS3. Bloodborne is my favorite actually, if you count in all the souls games including Demon's Souls.

I can't wait for Nioh, I'll be occupied with that for a while. Very Happy

I should, but I've never played either Bloodborne or Demon's souls, since I don't own a console. I'm sure I would love Bloodborne, though. I always play without a shield anyway.

I'm a really big fan of the first Dark Souls. I love the interconnectivity of the world, and I'm sad that it's almost entirely absent in the other installments. Like, did you know that you don't need the master key to skip the Taurus Demon? You can just make your way through the new londo ruins, open the giant gate, and lo and behold you're in the valley of drakes. Scratch the taurus demon, you can actually skip the entire Undead Burg and still beat the game. Out of the 22 bosses in the base game (I'm excluding AotA since they're all obviously optional), only 11 are mandatory, and I love it. It's a perfect hybrid of an open-world and a more focused, streamlined experience.

    Sorry for the vent

I have thought about getting Bloodborne but I don't know if I have the time. Nioh is also very interesting and it's doing critically very well! Maybe I should visit Witcher 3 first. Just started NG+ during winter holidays...

I heard they made an "easy mode" for Darkest Dungeon, so the time needed to completed is cut half. So instead of ~80h it's now just ~40h, if I recall correctly. Then again, I don't know how much that mode changes the game experience but it could work for you.

Meh, just playing 2D platformers from my childhood when I get bored, stuff like Jazz the Jackrabbit, Animaniacs:A Gigantic Adventure, Disney's Hercules, Captain Claw (those fanmade custom levels are sick!) as well as many entries from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

I guess you are playing lots of Nintendo games in that case. Any chance you have got yourself a Switch? Actually, has anyone tried Zelda: Breath of the Wild?

Also, is anyone going to play Persona 5. I'm now hugely excited for P5 especially now after reading reviews for it.

Yes, I'm big N fan. However I haven't played Switch yet and I'm afraid that I won't because of it's relatively big price. By the way, there are lot speculations about remakes of Generation 4 at Nintendo Switch. I wonder what it'll be?
About Persona series - I haven't played it yet but I heard good opinions about it. Plus it's anime-style video games, which I like really much.

Actually Switch is the first Nintendo console or handheld I'm interested in. I might buy it in a year after Mario Odyssey has been released. My parents had a NES back in the day and I played the 1st Mario Bros on it. Zelda is as enjoyable on Wii U if you have the system, that is. Otherwise it's advisable to purchase a N Switch. I'm glad Nintendo seem to have stepped their game up with the release of the Switch although they still seem to be weird regarding some stuff, like infamous Youtube claims and game offers along the upcoming paid Online service.

I played Persona 4 Golden on my Vita and I really liked it and it was the first entry in Persona series I had played. I heard Persona 5 is very enjoyable even if you haven't played the 4 games coming before it. P5 got 39/40 from Kotaku and now it's around 94/100 in metacritic. P5 being released on both PS4 and PS3 won't hurt, either.

I play Super Smash Bros Melee and if I'm being honest it's the only video game I have time for and make the effort to consistently play.

Of course I'm a sucker for the flagship Pokemon games. Earlier this year I bought a PS4 for Street Fighter V but am looking forward to Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Crash Bandicoot N-sane Trilogy coming out later this year.
