Most cards such as Van and Completely are there for situations that may disable certain plays but nonetheless if one ramps properly this deck actually succeeds in sending out a BALESK BAJ by either wild safari or by summoning an Aegis and using great grasper to mana spam Balesk

Which (meta) decks has proven to be most easy or alternatively challenging to win wtih this?

Well rush is hard to overcome but on a whole i have atleast 3 creatures in the bz by turn 7

This is a combo deck in a sense, so it doesn't really surprise that rush has proven to be difficult to beat.

I'm certain that some TCG duelists will appreciate this build using an old school card like Balesk Baj.

It's good to see a OCG deck in this section after a while! And one very interesting too, maybe also for TCG as ELTP already quoted.
As i am still learning and looking through a lot of OCG cards since i was absence for quite some time before, there are a lot of cool cards in there. Maybe i missed something but are 4 base creatures for 2 balesk baj totally sufficent in this case?
Wilf Safari +Wachagona and espicially Great Gasper are great cards since he can put Evo creatures in the BZ too. And the mana multicolour/support ramp cards such as Ruins of the Lion King are a impressivly fast.
There are also a lot single cards in this deck but i think you already explained your point there (to disable certain plays). Since i'm not really into OCG meta i can't guess how important they are but this decks looks really awesome in total!

Nah, noy many noticed and some just shrugged it off to good luck cause i was winning with a balesk
