WL Starnoid Aggro Guide WF0J5EE

Deck list

Water (17)
4x Emeral
4x Aqua Hulcus
3x Energy Stream
3x Corile
3x Aqua Surfer

Light (21)
4x Tulk The Oracle
4x Reusol The Oracle
3x Kolon The Oracle
4x Magris Vizier of Magnetism
2x Petrova Channeler Of Suns
4x Holy Awe

Multi Colored (2)
2x Wise Starnoid Avatar Of Hope

Total 40 cards

Gameplan:
Against Control win by swarming.
Against Aggro play around searing wave and fight for tempo. Don't be afraid to go face as you can lock down by setting holy awe in shields. Starnoid lockdown is also an option since the only solid answer to it is soulswap or terror pit

1 drop:
● 4x tulk
+ Cheap light bringer evo body
+ Use it to Swarm
+ Beat down with petrova

2 drops:
● 4x Emeral
+ Cheap cyber lord evo body
+ Set shields, hard for opponent to read.
+ Mulligan usually surfers, kolons and awes for a card that can apply pressure on field.

● 4x Reusol
+ Attacking body
+ Cheap light bringer evo body
Tip: when Petrova is played, buff light bringers unless you already have 2 Cyber lords on field.
(If reusol did not exist, ballas would be the next best card choice. But if thats the case then you might as well play WL initiates aggro or WLN aggro)

3 drops:
● 4x Aqua Hulcus
+ Attacking body plus draw, and nicely fits into the aggro curve

● 3x Energy Stream
+ Refill resources for swarm
+ Stream is much better than lucky ball because it costs 1 less and doesn't have a prerequisite to cast; meaning you can play it on curve.)

4 drops:
● 4x Magris
+ same as hulcus
Tip: In a situation where you have 4 mana with hulcus and magris in hand assuming perfect mana 2L 2W. I think its better to use hulcus to dig for tulk assuming you haven't drawn any tulks at that point.

● 3x Kolon
+ The deck is built such that you almost don't have to play kolon on t4 as your best play for t4 curve because now you will have other options
+ Light bringer evo body trigger
+ Use it to fight for board control and get starnoid to lockdown when your opponent that is playing aggro is setting up to swarm field

5 mana:
● 3x Coriles
+ Gain tempo advantage by top decking an opponent's creature
(4th corile is cut for 4th holy awe)

● 2x Petrova
+ Buff light bringers allowing them to survive destruction spells, and beatdown your opponent
+ Good finisher as its immune to all single target triggers

● 2x Wise Starnoid
(3rd copy clogs hand)
+ Lock down aggro decks since you gain a shield each time it attacks

6mana:
● 4x Holy Awe
+ Use with emeral to set up stalemate against aggro
● 3x Aqua Surfer
(3rd surfer instead of 4th kolon because of balancing colour counts)

Looking good but why did you choose Reusol over Wyn, the Oracle? king

Hey man nice to see you are still active. Wyn and Le quiest both have nice abilities but Reusol's additional 500 power to make it 2000 is the deciding factor because tempo is more important than what those 2 aforementioned creatures can do. Reusol being 2k power allows it to trade with hulcus and coriles or other importanty 2k bodies (of course the trading will be done by your opponent and not you because you are the aggressor in most matchups).
