    Multiplayer Rules Empty Multiplayer Rules

    Post by NightMaster 06.07.17 20:55

Hello everyone, I have some questions about multiplayer games, for example in a four players game, free-for-all :

    - I play a "Rothus, the Traveler" : I destroy one of my creatures, then ALL my opponents must destroy one of their creatures, or I choose one of my opponent who must do that ?

    - I Attack with "Horrid Worm" player B : So player B must discard a card at random, or I can choose player C or D to discard (even if the attacked player still be player B), or all opponents discard ?

    - I Attack with "Plasma Chaser" player B, and he have 1 creature in the battle zone, player C has 3 creatures and player D 2 : So, I draw 1 card because the attacked player has 1 creature, or I can choose to draw 1,2 or 3 cards, or I draw 6 cards (3+2+1) ?

    - I Attack with "Metalwing Skyterror" player B : Can I only destroy a creature with blocker from that player, or can I destroy any creature with blocker an opponent (player C or D) control ?

    - I play an "Invincible Cataclysm" : Can I choose to put 1 shield of 3 opponents in their graveyard, or I have to choose 3 shields of the same opponent ?

    - Bonus : I play "Invincible technology" and I choose to put ALL cards of my deck in my hand : So, I can't lose the game because of drawing the last card of my deck because now there are no cards in, true ?

For finish, There are specifics rules to multiplayer games ?
Thank you for your helps Smile

Go to Duel Masters wiki, type "multiplayer" into search bar and see the important rules for multiplayer games.
If there come up some more questions, feel free to ask, but it takes too long for in depth explanations to your cards, there is a rule that defines it all.

    Thank you Bronze-arm Smile
So I look the wikia, and I found "All effects that affect an opponent will affect all opponents."
    So :
    - Rothus kills one creature of EACH opponents
    - Horrid Worm discard one card at random of EACH opponent
    - Plasma Chase : I draw cards = of the total number of EACH opponent's creatures
-Metalwing destroy one blocker from EACH opponent
    - Invincible cataclysm put 3 shields of EACH opponent in their graveyard (perfect ! O_o)

    It's ok ? Smile

(but for invincible technology, I don't understand why you can lose the game by put your entire deck in your hand, the rule says "when you DRAW your last card", not "when you PUT the last card in your hand", someone has an explication ? )

    Rothus: would say the same
Horrid: only the opponent you attack has to discard
Chaser: yes all water the opponents control
Metalwing, no you choose creature, if the effect says choose "a" creature it's only one, no matter how many players.
Cataclysm: yeah actually, but the card does suck anyways haha

    For technology:

When you draw, you gain a card to the hand from the top of your deck.
Techno, lets you search and take, which is not draw.
But as you can't draw cards next time you're on turn, you lost.
If you take your whole deck, using technology, you don't deckout by draw.
But why would you need the whole deck, you get lost souled and your card was used for no reason. This is why i prefer Crystal memories over techno btw

Ok, if I understand, an effet who says "destroy 1 of your opponent's creature" only destroy 1 of my choice, but if an effect says "Your opponent chooses one of his creatures in the battle zone and destroys it", each opponents must do that ?

For invincible cataclysm, in a ramp deck, destroy 3 shields of each opponents is really funny Razz

The rule says : "When you draw your LAST card", so I don't understand why you can lose... Anyone has an idea ?

The rule doesn't specify it to drawing. When your deck loses its last card, you lose.

    The rule itself says officially:

"As soon as you draw your last card of your deck, you lose instantly."
(To be found at wiki under "draw")

Technology has some sidenote under trivia, including a video of explanation.
ELTP is right here, you lose as you take up the last card, even if it was your final exodia part haha.

There's really not much else to it. Some rules just have to be agreed upon by players.

The link to the "official" page on it is long dead.

You could look at the jpwiki page of https://www27.atwiki.jp/duel_masters/pages/2442.html if you'd like, but its pretty much the same as http://duelmasters.wikia.com/wiki/Multiplayer
